Becky Hodgkiss graduated from Salford University in 2002 and began her professional career at Wolverhampton Wanderers FC in 2002, working full time with the Academy squad players aged between 9 and 21…
Becky Hodgkiss graduated from Salford University in 2002 and began her professional career at Wolverhampton Wanderers FC in 2002, working full time with the Academy squad players aged between 9 and 21. She was lucky enough to work with them during their promotion into the Premier League in a season where they won the FA Youth Cup. She also enjoyed several tours and tournaments with the squads both in the UK and abroad. During this time she also took the opportunity to work with Stockport County FC and GB Basketball. In 2005, Becky moved over as a Lead Clinician at a gait analysis Physiotherapy clinic in Chester where she worked closely with a Podiatrist and running athletes analysing movement patterns, utilising orthoses, treatment and rehabilitation exercises to correct any abnormalities. Through this role she also had the opportunity to work with GB Kayak athletes in Ellesmere Port. It was in 2006, Becky became a Harris & Ross employee with a Head Physiotherapist role at Widnes Vikings rugby league club, making the grand final in their bid for Super League promotion. During this time Rebecca was also working at our Total Fitness clinic in Altrincham. Rebecca then took the role as Head Physiotherapist at Wigan Warriors RLFC at the start of the 2007 campaign where she remained there for eight seasons and saw the club experience some of the most successful years in their recent history, becoming Minor Premier Champions, Super League Champions, Challenge Cup Winners, World Club Challenge runners up and achieving the illusive double win in 2012. During her time at Wigan she has also completed her MSc at Bath University.
