Treatment plans and pricing guide
AposTherapy® is an innovative, personalised, non-surgical and drug-free programme for knee and back pain, based on a foot-worn biomechanical device which is individually-calibrated by specially-trained chartered physiotherapists.
The treatment is clinically proven to deliver long term pain relief and to improve function, mobility and quality of life. More than 60,000 patients have benefited already worldwide.
AposTherapy® is a specialist treatment intended to help people who have already exhausted traditional conservative treatments before progressing to the more invasive and intensive surgical options.
Knee care pathway
To determine if you are a suitable candidate for AposTherapy® and to be sure you will improve and benefit from our treatment, we will carry out a free assessment which is delivered by an AposTherapy® trained physiotherapist.
Only then will you know whether AposTherapy® is appropriate for your condition and circumstances.
If the initial consultation results confirm that AposTherapy® is the right step forward for you, we can then decide on an appropriate treatment plan. At the start of your treatment you will receive a personally-adjusted biomechanical system and a personalised treatment schedule. You will also have further consultations with a specially-trained chartered physiotherapists throughout your treatment programme to evaluate your progress and adjust your system if necessary.
There are two ways to pay for AposTherapy® treatment, they are:
- Through private medical insurance scheme
- Funding your own treatment through a self-pay package
Private medical insurance (Insured patients)
AposTherapy® has direct settlement arrangements for AposTherapy® treatment with Bupa, Bupa International, WPA, Cigna, Simply Health and Exeter Family Friendly insurance companies. Prior to admission it is essential that you contact your insurers to confirm that your policy has a level of cover adequate to meet the cost of the treatment and also to receive a pre-authorisation code for AposTherapy® treatment.
Please note that medical insurance is a contract between the member/patient and the insurance company therefore settlement of the account remains the patient’s responsibility. Our patient care team are available to speak to if you have any questions or queries.
You may choose to pay for the procedure yourself as a self-funding patient. If you are paying for your own treatment, we know it is useful to have a guide on the cost of the specialist treatment, so please have a look at our pricing guide in the first instance. However because AposTherapy® is a specialist treatment programme, we would recommend that you come in for a free assessment where you will be able to talk through the treatment programme with an AposTherapy® trained physiotherapist and find out if AposTherapy® will help you get back to doing the things you love.
Our fixed pricing* eliminates any hidden charges during your treatment programme . This can be very reassuring, especially if you are considering private care for the first time:
