The Certified Providers can offer AposTherapy to their customers suffering from knee , back or hip complaints as an integrated part of their offerings, thus enhancing patient outcomes, retention and satisfaction as well as helping to differentiate their practice.

  • What is AposTherapy?
  • AposTherapy is an innovative, personalised, drug-free and non-surgical treatment for knee , hip and lower back pain, which has been clinically proven to alleviate pain and improve mobility.

Developed by doctors from the fields of orthopaedics and sports medicine, AposTherapy is based on established scientific principles of bio-mechanics and neuro-muscular control. The therapy utilizes an individually adjusted unique biomechanical footworn device and  is performed as part of a patient's day to day activities. AposTherapy re-educates the brain and muscles to work properly again, brings the body into optimal alignment and creates healthier walking patterns and improved function.

AposTherapy was established in 2005. To date it has helped over 50,000 people in the U.S., Israel, the U.K. and Singapore. In the UK AposTherapy is covered by major Private Medical insurers such as Bupa, Cigna, Aviva and WPA.

  • Who is qualified to become an AposTherapy Certified Provider?
  • Private Physiotherapist and Orthopaedic Practices that are looking to add an effective, innovative and high-end service to the current portfolio of treatments offered by their clinic.

  • How to become an AposTherapy Certified Provider?
  • To join a programme, please fill in your details in the contact form on the right pane. Our representative will contact you to set an initial discussion where both sides can assess the feasibility of potential partnership. Upon reaching a mutual agreement a memorandum of understanding is signed and the partner undergoes a training course which lasts for 2 weeks followed by a period of on site training deliered by our own dedicated AposTherapist.

Upon completing the training course and passing the certification exam the provider proceeds to the setup stage, during which all the needed equipment and logistical requirements are established.

From this point onwards the provider can offer AposTherapy as part of his treatment portfolio to his existing and new customers and enjoy all the benefits of this innovative and effective treatment. AposTherapy head office actively supports the provider through this process by assigning dedicated staff and providing clinical, scientific, logisticals and marketing resources.

  • The Training and Certification Process
  • The training and certification process includes both home study as well as attendance at theoretical and practical modules in our training center. The courses are performed in small groups and timing is adjusted to your needs and availability.

The courses develop a fundamental knowledge on the treatment method and provide the therapists first hand experience in treating patients suffering with musculosceletal disorders utilising AposTherapy.

The certification process consists of 2 levels. Level 1 lasts around 2 weeks and graduates are qualified to treat the main knee pain conditions with AposTherapy. It's recommended that within 3 months of completing level 1, the therapists then attend level 2. This is a one week course which enables graduates  to treat a large variety of musculosceletal conditions with AposTherapy.
