Since qualifying as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1998 Emma has worked extensively in the private sectors, treating muscular skeletal injuries. Emma offers the highest level of service utilising the latest medical research. Her passion and drive for a patient centric approach to care has driven her to strive to continue to develop her clinical skills over the last two decades. The main areas of focus of her treatments are the management of movement dysfunctions and recovery from long or complex injury. As a qualified AposTherapist and women’s health practitioner these skills allow her to review biomechanics as a whole. Pilates, acupuncture and biomechanical analysis anchor her diagnostics skills and enable her to treat holistically. Alongside working very closely with some of London's top private consultants and working in one of London's leading Physiotherapy Practices, 15 years ago Emma set up her stunning luxury medical centre, Chiltern Hills and has created an incredible wellbeing department using holistic therapy, focusing on inner health and mindfulness complete with fully equipped gym and state of the art Flotation tank - the only one of its kind in Hertfordshire. Emma believes everybody deserves a life free from pain and creates bespoke packages for every client with individual requirements the key focus.
Anna graduated from Cardiff Universitywith a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree and has since spent her time treating a variety of musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and neurological disorders. Since 2014 Anna has been working as a Senior AposTherapist, utilising an innovative biomechanical device in the treatment of various lower limb and back conditions. From her extensive knowledge of biomechanics and gait, Anna is able to provide excellent treatment which can make significant contribution to people’s health and potential social well-being. Outside of work, Anna loves to travel and has a passion for health and fitness. She is a keen netball player and enjoys running anything from a 5km to marathon distance. In the summer months she loves to sail and kitesurf and in the winter months she skis regularly and combines this with her love for travel.
Dr Kathryn Levy joins us as an associate physiotherapist based in Cambridge, UK. Kathryn holds a clinical doctorate in physiotherapy from Columbia University in New York City. She is a highly qualified and experienced Women’s Health Physiotherapist, a registered Mummy MOT practitioner, and a fully certified AposTherapist . Kathryn specialises in antenatal and postnatal rehabilitation, pelvic floor muscle dysfunction, urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, diastasis recti, and post-surgical gynaecological rehabilitation. She has a particular clinical interest in treating patients with complex pelvic pain and joint hypermobility syndrome , applying biomechanical principles and evidence-based interventions. Kathryn’s clinical training and practical experience allow her to design and deliver customised and holistic care packages to help clients achieve their health and wellness goals. She is also a fully certified Pilates’ instructor, with extensive experience in its clinical application in core stability and pelvic floor rehabilitation. Kathryn is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and an affiliate member of the Pelvic, Obstetric & Gynaecological Physiotherapy section. She is dual American and Canadian citizen with a background in dance and an undergraduate degree in Performing Arts.
Mary qualified as a physiotherapist in 2009 after completing a Masters degree in Rehabilitation Science at Glasgow Caledonian University. Prior to this she undertook a BSc Honours degree in Physiology and Sports Science at Glasgow University. Mary worked for several years in the NHS in Glasgow whilst simultaneously working part time in football at Club and National level in both the men's and women's game respectively. After 5 years in football she made the move to London to take up a full time role as Head Physiotherapist at Arsenal Ladies Football Club. Her interests and expertise lie in treating musculoskeletal injury and she has a keen interest in the lower limb and in particular, conditions of the knee, developed after her vast experience in football. She utilises a mixture of manual therapy skills and prescriptive exercise to develop a patient centered rehabilitation programme to help restore function. Mary is a certified AposTherapist. This has significantly developed her skills in Biomechanics and gait assessment allowing Mary to assess and treat using a foot-worn biomechanical device providing a non-surgical and drug free treatment to this patient group.
