AposTherapy® Data Protection Notice
Our goal is to provide the highest level of service to our patients and business partners. We have procedures in place for you to access information we hold about you and procedures in place to ensure the integrity of the information held.
Confidentiality: The confidentiality of patient and customer information is of the highest concern to AposTherapy® in all of its operating countries. To this end, AposTherapy® complies with all applicable data protection legislation and medical confidentiality guidelines.
AposTherapy® may use third parties to process data on its behalf. Such processing, which may be outside of the European Economic Area, is subject to contractual restrictions with regard to confidentiality and security to ensure adequate protection of the data transferred in accordance obligations imposed by relevant data protection legislation.
Medical information: Medical information will always be kept confidential. It will only be disclosed to those involved with your treatment or care within AposTherapy®, to regulatory bodies and organizations to comply with reporting obligations required by such bodies, during the course of clinical research activities or as required by law. Subject to your consent, we may disclose information including medical and treatment information to your GP, or to their agents, and, if applicable, to any person or organisation who may be responsible for meeting your treatment expenses, or their agents. In addition, and subject to your consent, your medical information may be used in the process of obtaining intellectual property protection for AposTherapy® products and methods.
Telephone calls: In the interest of continuously improving our service to customers and patients your calls may be recorded and monitored.
Research: Anonymised or aggregated data may be used by AposTherapy®, or disclosed to others, for research or statistical purposes.
Names and addresses: AposTherapy® does not make the names and addresses of customers or patients available to other organisations (with the exception of your medical insurer, for which case your consent is requested).
Keeping you informed: AposTherapy® would, on occasion, like to keep you informed of new products and services which it considers may be of interest to you.
